On their third album Blue Weekend, London’s Wolf Alice went all-in with a big, vibrant sound and heavy emotions to match. Their tour of the same name recently brought them to the Vic Theatre, and the quintet (fleshed out this time around with touring keyboardist Ryan Malcolm) have never seemed more ebullient to be playing live.

The set was an overview of their career and an immediate reminder of how surprisingly deep their catalog has become in such a short time. New titles like “How Can I Make It OK?” segued seamlessly with older cuts like “You’re A Germ” and “Bros.” What they had in common was each selection turned into joyous singalongs and a palpable release of too many days spent in silence.
