Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen has spent the past three decades rallying against the band’s debut album, With Sympathy. He hated it so much that he even refused to sign copies of it unless someone coughed up $1000. Now, the unthinkable has happened. Jourgensen and crew are celebrating the album and Ministry’s early works on “The Squirrely Years” tour. The hometown show with special guests Nizter Ebb and Die Krupps comes to the Riviera Theatre this Friday, May 9th, at 7:30 PM. This has been a long time coming for fans, and it may not happen again, so you don’t want to miss this. Find tickets here.

Extreme metal band Cradle of Filth is no stranger to controversy. From their graphic lyrics and videos to one very infamous t-shirt, the band knows how to get under your skin. In support of their latest album, The Screaming of the Valkyries, the band co-headlines Chaos & Carnage 2025 with Dying Fetus and special guests Fleshgod Apocalypse, Ne Obliviscaris, Undeath, Vomit Forth, and Corpse Pile. It’s gonna be a brutal night as the tour rolls into Radius on Friday, May 9th. Doors open at 4 PM. Tickets are available here.

There’s an undeniable swagger to Chicago’s Brigitte Calls Me Baby. Maybe it’s their fusion of garage rock with crooner stylings. Perhaps it’s Wes Leavins’ haunting vocals that invoke Elvis and Morrissey. Maybe it’s how nonchalant they appear on stage as if they were born to perform. See if you can pinpoint it when Brigitte Calls Me Baby opens for Saint Motel at the Riviera Theatre on Saturday, May 10th at 7:30 PM. You can find tickets here.
