Stage Buzz – Live Shots: Veruca Salt
Almost two decades after an acrimonious split, Chicago’s Veruca Salt have reformed with all their original members. Volcano Girl’s Nina Gordon and Louise Post have hugged it out and are hitting the road on the heels of their acclaimed Record Store Day EP and an eye on more new music in the future. IE Photographer Curt Baran ventured out onto North Lincoln Avenue and captured the second show of a two night residency at Lincoln Hall. Oddly enough, the venue is steps away from the former Lounge Ax site, where the Salt’s played some of their first shows. Here’s what it looked like…oh, and Spoiler Alert: The Seether is Louise!
