Congratulations Riot Fest! You’re officially old enough to drink legally!!! That, of course, means that the 21st addition of the now annual event once again converged on Chicago’s Douglass Park, bringing with it w Punk Rock-leaning lineup that focused on, ahem, vintage bands lovingly curated with new, up and coming bands as well. Day 1 would ultimately prove to be the most fruitful with performances from Glixen, Panic Shack, Teen Mortgage, JMSN, Division Minuscule, Soul Glo, Violet Grohl, 3OH!3, Tricky, Bratmobile, Motion City Soundtrack, Alkaline Trio, Slick Rick, Sex Pistols, Pixies, Twenty One Pilots and Iggy Pop…whew!
