Jimmy Eat World is celebrating 25 years of their seminal album Bleed American. Featuring hits like “The Middle,” “The Sweetness,” “A Praise Chorus,” and “If You Don’t, Don’t,” the album has been constantly hailed as one of the best punk records of all time. You’ll have a chance to hear this iconic album in full when Jimmy Eat World comes to Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island with special guests The Get Up Kids and Sunny Day Real Estate this Thursday, August 20th. Acclaimed Talking Heads tribute Big Suit comes to the Des Plaines Theatre on Wednesday, August 26, with a stage show modeled after the Stop Making Sense(captured in the 1984 film) stage show era of the band; charismatic lead singer Jason Krause leads the group on an energetic night of music from the groundbreaking, eclectic New York new wave band.
