Day One

Lollapalooza, the massive annual four-day music festival, returned to its home in Chicago’s Grant Park for its 2026 edition. The festival featured dozens of bands spread across four days, all performing on the city’s front lawn. On the first day, DJ John Summit, who grew up in nearby suburban Naperville, brought a local flavor to the event. The day also offered a variety of musical performances, including those by Kim Theory, Faouiza, Asha Banks, Marlon Funaki, Haute & Freddy, Ecca Vandal, Paris Paloma, 5 Seconds of Summer, Audrey Hobert, Empire of the Sun, Sombr, Wet Leg, and Viagra Boys.
