Chicago’s Braymores deliver a familiar blend of folk and roots rock, recalling bands nurtured in the city, including The Insiders and Way Down Wanderers. Add a dash of atmospheric shoegaze to their mix, and it’s a more than interesting result. Their surprisingly solid 2024 debut album, Who You’d Have Been, showcased their melodic chops. Their debut at Lollapalooza on July 30th promises to be another giant step forward.

Well-loved Limerick band, Kingfishr, is finally showing off their stunning debut album, Halcyon, to Chicago audiences. This fast-rising Irish trio has taken folk lovers by storm by revitalizing traditional melodies with an indie-pop flair. Check out a stunning afternoon set from Kingfishr (minus guitarist Eion “Fitz” Fitzgibbon, who has announced a short break from touring) at the Tito’s stage on Thursday 7/30.

“I wanna make it, but it’s fun to be a normal girl”—a line from the closing track of her debut record Who’s The Clown?—may be the most apt description of the ethos of Audrey Hobert. Perhaps best known as the close friend and frequent collaborator of Gracie Abrams, Hobert has carved out an eccentric and confessional niche of her own, straddling the line between ordinary young adulthood and pop stardom. Her set at the Allianz stage on Thursday, July 30th is one you won’t want to miss.

The Army, the Navy is the musical brainchild of childhood friends (and college roommates) Maia Ciambriello and Sasha Goldberg. It’s no surprise that their lives have been so intertwined; together, they make complex, dreamy harmonies and overlapping vocals look effortless. The past few years have seen the duo drop two EPs whilst serving as openers for several indie and pop acts (Matt Maltese, James Arthur) and later embarking on their own headlining tour. Their debut album, Fake Brave Life, was released earlier this summer to critical acclaim. Catch them on the Allianz stage on Friday, July 31st.

Die Spitz caught our ear last summer at Schubas. Their new atmospheric, heavy punk album, Something to Consume, reinforces that they can translate their live performances to vinyl. These Austin-based female rockers have great chops with even more room to develop. They’ve reportedly been asked to open for Olivia Rodrigo for some dates on her 2027 tour, so the arrow is pointing up.

In an inaugural album cycle with Columbia Records, following a decade-long tenure with Dirty Hit, Wolf Alice has cleared the way for a new era. Their fourth studio album, released last year, The Clearing, is a dynamic and emotional emulsification of the band’s rock legacy. With a robust discography and a killer presence, Wolf Alice is an ensemble that thrives in a live music setting primed for the Bud Light stage. Returning to Lollapalooza Chicago after 10 years, Wolf Alice is a must-see on your Saturday afternoon schedule.

NYC’s Zack Martino commences the party on Perry Stage on Sunday, showcasing his chops in EDM, mixing heavy dance anthems and dance-pop favorites. He built his resume at New York’s Pacha while collaborating with acclaimed house producer Reggio. Zack’s remixes of tunes by the Chainsmokers, Vicetones, and Hailey Reinhart have earned him a matinee session center stage at Lolla 2026.
Wunderhorse

Back and better than ever, English rock band Wunderhorse makes a return to the Lollapalooza lineup after illness kept them from the Tito’s stage last summer. After critical acclaim for their 2022 album Cub, the band set out to roughen their edges on 2024’s Midas. With cutting, unfiltered energy and well-clamored poetry, this British guitar band has taken the 90s indie-guitar recombinations to stronger, renewed heights. As a stop on a slate of North American tour dates and coming off of a dynamic new single, “The Rope”, you won’t want to miss Jacob Slater’s shining voice this Sunday at 4:00 pm.
