Kim Gordon

Kim Gordon
will always be remembered for her groundbreaking work with Sonic Youth, but over the years she has broken out to pave her own successful solo career. Now on her third album, the singer continues to prove why she remains one of the most impactful forces in music. Gordon brings the “Play Me” tour to the Metro this Tuesday, June 23rd with special guest The Fiery Furnaces. Tickets available here.

Synth wave innovators The Human League’s “Generations” tour is one for the ages. Not only does it mark their first U.S. tour in 15 years, it also sees them teaming up with influential new wavers Soft Cell and Alison Moyet. Whether you were in the club grooving to “Don’t You Want Me” or discovered the song decades later through TikTok, this is a show you shouldn’t miss. The Human League will perform a sold-out show at The Chicago Theatre on Tuesday, June 23rd.

Parody master and polka aficionado “Weird Al” Yankovic is one of our greatest national treasures. For the past 43 years, he’s been reimaging songs by Michael Jackson, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Queen, Nirvana, and so many more, resulting in tunes that are often better (and funnier) than the originals. Yankovic will treat fans to his plethora of greatest hits when he brings the “Bigger & Weirder” tour to the United Center this Saturday. June 27th. You can still grab tickets here.
