Holiday Hangover at House of Blues Chicago
House of Blues Chicago is kicking off the 2019 Holiday Season with their first-ever Holiday Hangover – ten days of top national tribute bands along with a roster of Chicago’s best tributes. The format has been a blast at other HOB locations across the country, and the talent buyers at the Windy City location are making sure fans get their best tributes in all genres, including sixties rock, southern rock, punk, metal, grunge, pop, and Tejano.
12/19 – Tribute to The Doors & Allman Brothers
Of Perception: Of Perception is the #1 Doors Tribute Band in the Midwest offering a high energy Doors show that captures the music and dynamics of Jim Morrison and the Doors in their prime, performing classics from their Summer of Love debut up to LA Woman.
Midnight Rider: Suburban Chicago-based Midnight Rider honors the remarkable talent and innovative abilities of the Allman Brothers Band. It is not about gimmicks and costumes. It is about the music; music that has inspired generations of fans through its boldness and creativity. Fans believe Midnight Rider presents the music the way Gregg and Duane Allman would have wanted.
12/23 – Grungefest: STP, Soundgarden, Green Day, Pearl Jam
Big Bang Baby: BIG BANG BABY has perfected their show into the ultimate Stone Temple Pilots experience, built to perform the most captivating, accurate live show since honor the Scott Weiland.
Superunknown: They are Chicago’s premiere Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple Of The Dog tribute group.
St. Jimmy: Touted as “America’s Premier Green Day Tribute Act,” St. Jimmy has become legendary for bringing the Green Day experience to massive audiences in bars, concert halls, festivals, and private party settings. They have been called “ridiculously entertaining,” “an exact replica,” “strikingly polished,” and “spot-on” by reviewers and fans.
Ten: One of AXS TV’s “Worlds Greatest Tribute Bands,” the Ten is the nation’s premier fan tribute to the legendary rock band Pearl Jam. Touring the continental US and beyond since 2003, the band has played over 550 shows nationwide to standing room only crowds. It has developed a truly unique presentation for both die-hard and casual fans alike.
12/26 – Tribute to Family Values ft. Tributes to Slipknot, Deftones, Korn, and Mudvayne
The Subliminal Verses: “This band began as a fetus; A concoction of creativity, hand-picked from the bowels of refuse that lie here,” according to their website. They are the definitive Slipknot tribute band in Chicago.
White Pony: Chicago’s very own tribute to Deftones recreates the ultimate live experience.
Freak On A Leash: Freak On A Leash will quickly satisfy any Korn fan. They touch base with all the singles you want to hear, and at the same time, they’re not afraid to journey into the darker side of Korn and bring out the diehard fan favorites.
Lethal Dose: Lethal Dose is Chicagoland’s premier Mudvayne tribute, bringing you the look, feel, and sound of Mudvayne in their prime.
12/27 – Salute to 80’s Rock: Tributes to Scorpions, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and AC/DC
Lovedrive: The acclaimed tribute to the Scorpions and ’80s Classic Rock/Metal will rock HOB.
Dr. Feelgood:Â A tribute to the bad boys of glam metal hair bands, Motley Crue.

Black Angus: Black Angus pays tribute to AC/DC of the golden Bon Scott era, with a spot-on lead singer and inspired ’70s style performances.
12/28 – Genessa & The Selena Experience
Genessa & The Selena Experience formed on the 20th anniversary of Tejano superstar Selena’s passing. Featuring an incredible class of musicians straight out of New York City – which has become the “mecca” for professional cover bands, the stunning and talented Genessa & The Selena Experience features lead singer Genessa Escobar.
12/29 – Boy Band Review: Denim Winter Formal
You heard us. Boy Band Review has the right stuff! Having spent the last several years honing their live performances, the band has managed to capture the hearts of fans with the country’s #1 Boy band show.
