Considering she took the stage at Lollapalooza 2015 wearing a latex catsuit in a blazing afternoon sun, it was safe to assume that Marina Lambrini Diamandis (how do you NOT become a Pop star with a birth name like that!?) would not disappoint on the night of a holiday that begs for pageantry. Her and her band Marina And The Diamonds embraced their Halloween spirit during their All Souls show Saturday night at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre by donning face paint, dropping pop culture references and enough costume changes to inspire Cher to hit the road again.

IE’s Curt Baran managed to keep the grease paint off his camera lens long enough to capture the action. Heloise Letissier of openers Christine And The Queens opted for the obscure reference, dressing as Klaus Nomi, cus’ everyone remembers the early 80’s pop star that married cabaret, opera, and goth, right?

Yeah, didn’t think so. Of course, OUR resident photog still owns it on vinyl. Perhaps he went dressed as a music geek, which is to say, no costume at all
