So we checked our radar app before going through the gates of Riot Fest Chicago 2015 and we are certain that it was the only place in the entire city where it was raining. The clouds did eventually part and Curt Baran was back at it, sometimes ankle deep in the mud to score shots of Chon, The Ataris, Elway, Steve Ignorant & Paranoid Visions, FIDLAR, Swervedriver, The Joy Formidable, The Damned, Babes In Toyland, The Thurston Moore Band, Desaparecidos, Echo and the Bunnymen, Bootsy Collins’ Rubber Band, Merle Haggard, Billy Idol and Iggy Pop.
