Don’t Miss The Bus!

| May 9, 2007

The Chicago Blues Fest is still another month away (June 7-10th) and if you can’t wait until then, the bus is waiting for you. Literally!

Blues University and BiG Productions, Inc. put together the Chicago Blues Tour, scheduled for this Saturday, May 12th. Think of it as a CTA bus, but instead of dropping you off 20 minutes late for work, this bus will dump you off at one of six different Chicago blues venues for a full night of live music. One ticket at $30 includes cover charges and shuttle bus transportation between all six venues, which include Wabash Tap (the “hub” for the tour), Rosa’s Lounge, Lee’s Unleaded Blues, Wallace’s Catfish Corner, Linda’s Place, and the Checkerboard Lounge, where Chainsaw Dupont will perform.

The buses will run shuttle routes, meaning ticket holders have the freedom to move among the venues as much as they like or even stay at one club all night if they so choose. Schedules, lineups, maps, and tickets are available at www.chicagobluestour.com. Blues University recommends buying a ticket before Saturday night to reserve your seat on the bus, but a limited number of tickets will be available that night.
