Singin’ For A Reason
We must confess our sins: Auditions for “Inspiration Sensation” are more than half over at this point, and we are just now getting around to mentioning them.
Let us make amends, please! There are still four chances to audition for the show, which is sort of a Christian “American Idol” that searches high — but never low — for the “next big voice in Christian music.” Two winners are chosen from each of the 12 Chicagoland auditions to compete in the semifinal. From those 24, half will be chosen to compete live on the television show, which is produced by the Total Living Network, out of Aurora.
According to a press release for the contest, winners receive a recording contract with Asoné Sound Music Group and the opportunity to perform at venues like House Of Blues as well as events such as Taste Of Chicago and the Bud Billiken Parade.
