Young People
Five Sunsets In Four Days
(Too Pure)

Former Touch And Go/Dim Mak property find their inner Rid Of Me.

Ahh, the glory of the EP. Never having to abandon the dusty, Midwestern flavor of their two albums, Five Sunsets In Four Days allows Young People space to shake out any dissorock before buckling back down. Alone, “Wild Boys Of The Road” disappears in a haze of Yeah Yeah Yeahs clones, but in context it deepens previous disc War Prayers, without explaining sessions like a hidden tape recorder. “Sudden Fear” reveals tendencies toward ’60s pop, but this is really for fans only.
