Day Three

Mother Nature attempted to thwart everyone’s plans for Saturday, and she managed to succeed momentarily. Severe overnight storms persisted into early morning, making it increasingly challenging for Chicago Park District officials to prepare the park for another day of massive crowds. In a wise decision, Lolla management chose not to open the gates until 3 p.m. Although several acts had to be canceled, rescheduling ensured that the music could continue. When the gates finally opened, the waiting audience from the city sidewalks was treated to performances from Die Spitz, Wolf Alice, Goldie Boutilier, Momma, Sienna Spiro, The Neighborhood, BBNO$, Geese, and the headliner, Jennie.
