Spooky (Stage) Buzz: Plain White T’s and We the Kings, Ho99o9, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult,
Chicago industrial legends My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult have been shakin’ and groovin’ to their brand of sleazy metal for nearly 40 years. With an eclectic sound spanning disco, metal, and rockabilly, their music is still fresh, exciting, and tantalizing as it was three decades ago. Catch Groovie Mann and co in action when they bring the “Delicate Terror Tour Part 1” to Concord Music Hall on Halloween night (October 31st). Get tickets while you can here.
Experimental punk rap duo Ho99o9 feels like a violent, brutal spawn of Black Flag and Death Grips. Fusing elements of metal, hardcore punk, horrorcore, noise punk, industrial, and alternative hip hop, their style is abrasive, unapologetic, and best of all, loud as hell. Supporting their latest album, Tomorrow We Escape, the duo brings their brand of chaos to the Rivera Theatre in support of grandson on Saturday, November 1st. Tickets available here.
Bust out the eyeliner, load up on the hairspray, and shimmy into your tightest skinny jeans. Plain White T’s and We the Kings are in town for their massive co-headlining tour. The “Delilah vs Juliet Tour” is a nostalgic night that promises to be full of fan favorites, like “Hey There Delilah,” “Check Yes Juliet,” “Heaven Can Wait,” and “1,2,3,4.” The tour pulls into the House of Blues this Saturday, November 1st. Find tickets here.
