Stage Buzz: Silverstein, Justin Timberlake, Foster The People
Post hardcore rockers Silverstein are on the road celebrating the band’s 25th anniversary. With a setlist full of fan favorites, hit singles like “Vices,” “Smile In Your Sleep,” “The Artist,” and “Retrograde,” and new music from their upcoming albums, it’ll be a night to remember. Thursday and Split Chain join the celebration. It all goes down this Tuesday, February 11th at Concord Music Hall. Tickets available here.
Pop superstar Justin Timberlake returns to Chicago to make up for the show he postponed last year. The “Sexy/Back” singer is feeling better and is ready to “Rock Your Body” with a night full of stunning choreography, sweet crooning, and loads of hits like “Selfish,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” “Suit & Tie,” and “Say Something.” If you missed out on Timberlake tickets the first time around, you still have time to grab a pair for his show on Friday, February 14th at the United Center. Get tickets here.
It’s been 15 years (!!) since Foster the People blew up thanks to their earworm hit single “Pumped Up Kicks.” A lot has changed since then, including the band lineup, yet the indie pop group is still going strong. They returned with their fourth album, Paradise State of Mind, last year adding another acclaimed album to their catalog. Foster the People will bring the “Paradise State of Mind Tour” with special guest Good Neighbours to the Salt Shed for a sold-out show on Saturday, February 15th.
