Kim Gordon

Alien Ant Farm, the band known for giving Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” a hard rock makeover, returns with Mantras, their first new album in nine years. Though a lot has changed in that time, the band is still unapologetically their brash, high-energy, abrasive selves. Hear fan favorites along with new songs at their Bottom Lounge show this Tuesday, June 4th, at 7 PM. Tickets are available here.

If there’s one thing Allie X can guarantee is to make you dance. Her latest album, Girl With No Face, is filled with weirdly dark electro-avant-garde tunes that are slightly frightening but undeniably catchy. She’ll transform Thalia Hall into her own dance club when she plays her sold-out show with Maylee Todd this Thursday, June 6th, at 8 PM.

General Hospital star turned rock star Rick Springfield is responsible for creating some of the most infectious power-pop hits of the 80s, including “Jessie’s Girl,” “Human Touch,” and “Don’t Talk to Strangers.” Celebrate Springfield’s greatest hits and hear personal stories during his “An Evening with Rick Springfield” shows. His Rivers Casino show on June 7 in Des Plaines is sold out, but you can still get tickets for his Metro show on June 9th. Grab them here.

Kim Gordon, best known for her work with Sonic Youth, is touring in support of her second solo album, The Collective. She’ll bring her cool demeanor, smoky vocals, and kick-ass music to the Bohemian National Cemetery for a sold-out show this Saturday, June 8, at 6 PM.
