John Mayer has spent the past few years moonlighting as the leader of Dead & Company. Now, Mayer gets back to basics with his solo acoustic tour. The Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter will treat fans to the latest tracks from his recent album Sob Rock along with classics like “Daughters” and “Your Body is a Wonderland” during his show at United Center this Wednesday, October 18 at 7:30 PM. Find tickets here.

Motionless In White has a sound and visual style that’s hard to forget. Led by the fearless Chris Motionless, the band uses elements of goth, metalcore, nu-metal, and industrial metal for a harsh yet unique and intricate sound. Touring in support of their latest album, Scoring the End of the World Deluxe, the band will play at the Aragon Ballroom with special guests Knocked Loose, After the Burial, and Alpha Wolf this Saturday, October 21, at 6:30 PM. You can still grab tickets here.

Multi-instrumentalist and TikTok phenom Laufey is on tour celebrating the release of her highly acclaimed sophomore album, Bewitched. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, her classical jazz-pop sound is her calling card, and she has been heralded for popularizing the genre for a new generation of listeners. Opening for her is indie singer-songwriter extraordinaire Adam Melchor, whose self-produced new EP, FRUITLAND, is a tender and cathartic marvel of storytelling. The duo will play two sold-out shows at Thalia Hall on October 21st and 22nd. (- Aubrey Vernon)

Once upon a time, Bullet For My Valentine was the scrappy underdog of the metalcore scene. Their 2005 debut album, The Poison changed that. Now, they’re seen as one of the big four of metalcore. Things have changed for the band over the years, from their sound to their lineup, but one thing remains the same: they know how to rock the fuck out. Catch the band’s performance at Riviera Theatre with Of Mice & Men and Vended on Sunday, October 22 at 6:30. Tickets are available here.
