| June 28, 2023

Between the Buried and Me

Between the Buried and Me are known for their high-concept albums that create thematic sagas within their discography. Their rich storytelling will be on full display when they perform their acclaimed 2012 album The Parallax II: Future Sequence in its entirety this Friday, June 30 at House of Blues. Thank You Scientist and Rivers of Nihil, join as support. You can still get tickets here.

Legendary singer/songwriter Anita Baker is celebrating the 40th anniversary of her debut album, The Songstress, with her first tour in 28 years, and luckily for us, she’s coming to Chicago. Join Baker for a night of soulful ballads when she performs at the United Center on Friday, June 30, at 7 PM. Get tickets so you don’t miss this one.

Country music icon Shania Twain has rightfully earned her title of Queen of Country Pop. With over 100 million albums sold and one of the leading country-pop crossover stars, her accolades are endless, just like her hits: “Still the One,” “From this Moment On,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” is just a sampling of her charting songs. Expect to hear these songs along with tracks from her new album Queen of Me when she swings through Tinley Park to play Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre on Saturday, July 1 at 7:30 PM. Get tickets here.

Start your engines! NASCAR is officially hitting the streets of Downtown Chicago for a weekend of (hopefully) high-octane fun. Enjoy races along with musical performances from The Black Crowes, Miranda Lambert, The Chainsmokers, and Charley Crockett. NASCAR Street Race Weekend revs up Saturday, July 1 through July 2 in Grant Park. Tickets are available here.
