Fozzy comes to the Art Theatre (Hobart, IN) Friday, March 24

Believe it or not, New Edition has been delivering smooth R&B jams for 45 years. With such a long career, the band has experienced its share of highs, lows, breakups, and reunions. New Edition celebrates its legacy with the appropriately named “Legacy Tour” with Keith Swear and Guy. The tour rolls into Rosemont’s United Center on Thursday, March 23, at 8 PM. Tickets are available here.

Led by wrestling superstar and acclaimed frontman Chris Jericho, Fozzy‘s delayed tour (by a wrestling injury!) finally arrives at Hobart’s Art Theatre on Friday, March 24, with their acclaimed brand of FozzyRock: melodic metal that’s been buoyed by their 2022 album Boombox. Tickets are still available.

Hometown heroes Wilco launch a three-night stand at the Uptown neighborhood’s Riviera Theatre on Thursday night. Following Friday’s show by Inhaler, Jeff Tweedy and his bandmates will resume the run on Friday and Saturday. For the benefit of fans fortunate enough to grab tickets to all three shows, the band has promised an entirely different set list each night. If you’re a true diehard with frequent flier miles, Wilco also offers the same guarantee for upcoming New York and Iceland sprints. The self-imposed restriction means the audience has a one-in-three chance of hearing its favorite track from the new album Cruel Country. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Get tickets here.- Jeff Elbel

Despite getting a taste of mainstream success, Yo La Tengo still has a strong cult following. The band returned this year with the critically acclaimed This Stupid World, already pegged as one of the year’s best releases. The band will play songs from the new album as well as some of their hits during their sold-out show at the Metro on Friday, March 25, at 8 PM.

Indie rock duo Same Coomes and Janet Weiss, better known as Quasi, returned this year with their new record Breaking the Balls of History, their first album in ten years following 2013’s Mole City. Back and better than ever, Quasi will perform further cuts and fan favorites at the Empty Bottle on Saturday, March 25, at 8 PM. You can still get tickets here.
