Richmond, Virginia’s Enforced quickly become the next metal band to watch thanks to their 2021 album Kill Grid, which blends classic thrash/crossover metal with punk, death metal, and hardcore for their own volatile sound. Now, you can catch them at Beat Kitchen supporting Undeath and 200 Stab Wound’s co-headlining tour alongside Phobophilic on Thursday, December 15. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Tickets are still on sale.

Chicago implants Psychostick have been making comedic metal anthems for the past 22 years, and they show no signs of stopping. Showing that metal doesn’t have to be all darkness and doom, the band combines heavy riffs, off-the-wall stage antics, and hilarious lyrics about how much laundry sucks or how good beer is for a unique experience. The band brings their humorous metal to Beat Kitchen with support from Ideamen and SUMPP this Saturday, December 17. Doors open at 7. Find tickets here.

Former RATT  founder and vocalist Stephen Pearcy brings his storied catalog to The Vixen in McHenry this Friday, December 16. It doesn’t look like the legendary ’80s hair metal band will reform anytime soon, so if you’re yearning for some of their classic tracks, Pearcy will be the closest to the real thing.

What better way to celebrate the holiday than seeing one of music’s most iconic groups belt out holiday classics? The Beach Boys featuring The Holiday Vibrations Orchestra will perform a mix of holiday favorites from the band’s 1964 Christmas album along with songs from co-founder and lead singer Mike Love’s holiday album Reason for the Season at the Chicago Theatre on Sunday, December 18. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Grab tickets here.

‘Tis the season to be jolly as Freddie Gibbs makes the holiday rounds during his “Merry Gibbsmas” shows. The rapper will perform a pair of special shows at Zanies and the Metro this week. You can catch him at Zanies’ “Cokane Comedy” on December 14 and 15. Following this, he’ll perform at the Metro on December 17 and 18. Tickets for Zanies are sold out, but Metro tickets are still on sale.
