The band will perform at the Riviera Theatre for what will likely be an unforgettable performance on Tuesday, October 11. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Find tickets here.

The undisputed Duke of Spook Wednesday 13 has been shocking audiences with his songs about things that go bump in the night, laced with various horror movie references for the past 20 years. The rocker celebrates two decades of shock horror with his “20 Years of Fear” tour featuring a career-spanning setlist. The tour makes its way to West Chicago to play WC Social Club on Wednesday, October 12. Doors open at 6 PM. Tickets are available here.

South Carolina’s death metal juggernaut, Narcotic Wasteland (featuring ex-Nile guitarist/vocalist Dallas Toler-Wade), has landed a sweet gig opening for legendary German heavy metal band Accept on its current North American *Too Mean To Die* Tour with a date in St. Charles at The Arcada Theater on October 14th. See Kelley Simm’s full preview here. See Accept/Narcotic Wasteland in St. Charles at The Arcada Theater on October 14. UK indie rock duo Blood Red Shoes are finally returning to US shores for their first North American tour in eight years. The duo, made up of Laura-Mary Carter and Steven Ansell, has evolved since their formation in 2004. Early years found them leaning towards a heavy garage rock sound. As the band continued, they expanded their sound to include noise pop, electronic, and synth music, making up most of their latest album, Ghosts on Tape. Catch the pair performing cuts from the new LP at Cobra Lounge this Saturday, October 15, at 8 PM. Get tickets here.

Fans of David Bowie will want to catch Celebrating David Bowie. The show returns Friday with an all-star cast of performers, including Rock’n’Roll Hall Of Famer Todd Rundgren and ground-breaking guitarist Adrian Belew (Bowie, NIN, King Crimson). Producer Scrote brings Spacehog’s Royston Langdon, Fishbone’s Angelo Moore, and other heavy hitters to interpret Bowie’s greatest hits. Tickets are available for the show on October 14 at Copernicus Center.

R&B superstar Lizzo returned this year with her highly anticipated fourth album, Special. Now, the 3x Grammy Award-winning, RIAA multi-platinum certified artist is bringing the “Special Tour” to Chicago with special guest Latto this Sunday, October 16, at 8 PM at the United Center. Tickets are available here.
