UK rock band Muse is taking a break from their larger-than-life arena shows for a special intimate theater tour in support of their new album Will of the People. The undisputed Duke of Spook Wednesday 13 has been shocking audiences with his songs about things that go bump in the night, laced with various horror movie references for the past 20 years. The rocker celebrates two decades of shock horror with his “20 Years of Fear” tour featuring a career-spanning setlist. UK indie rock duo Blood Red Shoes are finally returning to US shores for their first North American tour in eight years. The duo, made up of Laura-Mary Carter and Steven Ansell, has evolved since their formation in 2004. Early years found them leaning towards a heavy garage rock sound. As the band continued, they expanded their sound to include noise pop, electronic, and synth music, making up most of their latest album, Ghosts on Tape. Fans of David Bowie will want to catch Celebrating David Bowie. The show returns Friday with an all-star cast of performers, including Rock’n’Roll Hall Of Famer Todd Rundgren and ground-breaking guitarist Adrian Belew (Bowie, NIN, King Crimson). Producer Scrote brings Spacehog’s Royston Langdon, Fishbone’s Angelo Moore, and other heavy hitters to interpret Bowie’s greatest hits. R&B superstar Lizzo returned this year with her highly anticipated fourth album, Special. Now, the 3x Grammy Award-winning, RIAA multi-platinum certified artist is bringing the “Special Tour” to Chicago with special guest Latto this Sunday, October 16, at 8 PM at the United Center.
