Take a dash of The Rolling Stones, add a pinch of David Bowie, mix in a dash of Small Faces and a hint of My Chemical Romance and you’ve got Palaye Royale. They fuse their love of brit-pop, glam rock, and art rock to create a style they dub as “fashion-art rock.” Their infectious sound has helped them amass a legion of cult-like fans since their 2012 formation. Now, they’re bringing their high-energy show to the House of Blues with special guests Mod Sun, Starbenders, and Carolesdaughter this Tuesday, October 4. Doors open at 4:30. Tickets.

For the past five decades, Iron Maiden has remained one of the most influential and beloved heavy metal bands. With operatic vocals from Bruce Dickinson, blazing guitar riffs from Dave Murray and Adrian Smith, and songs that read like epics passed down through history; their sound is larger than life. No one does it better. They bring their iconic sound and their beloved mascot Eddie, to Chicago’s United Center this Wednesday, October 5, at 7:30 PM with support from Within Temptation. Tickets.

2022 should be dubbed the year of Harry Styles. His highly anticipated third album Harry’s House is one of the best releases of the year, debuting at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earning the most first-day streams via Apple Music for a pop album released in 2022. The album even took home the coveted Album of the Year award at the MTV VMAs. Styles is in such high demand that his massive “Love On Tour” trek making not one, not two, but six stops in Chicago. The UK pop star will perform at the United Center from October 6 to October 15. So far, all shows are sold out, but keep checking for last-minute releases of tickets.

Guitar legend Michael Schenker is celebrating his 50th Anniversary and comes to Des Plaines Theatre on October 7 and Arcada Theatre in St. Charles on October 8 (and locally at Hobart Art Theatre on October 11). From his early days with Scorpions and UFO to his MSG years and solo offerings, he changed the blueprint for the modern guitarist; tours are relatively rare for Schenker, so catch him while you can. The B-52s are one of the wackiest, oddball, and wildest bands in music. Known for hits “Loveshack” and “Rock Lobster,” their thrift shop, vintage aesthetic, and amusing yet catching lyrics made them a one-of-a-kind staple. Now, their prolific 43-year career is coming to an end as the band will say adios this year. If you want to party with The B-52s one final time, don’t miss their farewell tour when it swings by the Chicago Theatre on Friday, October 7, and  Saturday, October 8th. You can still get tickets here.
