Day 2 of Lollapalooza offered just as many choices for music as its predecessor. Headliner Machine Gun Kelly kept things minimalist (Dua Lipa declined our photo request), bringing only ONE giant helicopter on stage with him. Most everyone else on Friday let the music be their window dressing, and those included were La Dona, Jackie Hayes, Jasiah, Baby Tate, Wet Leg, Mahalia, The Regrettes (with Metallica’s Lars Ulrich watching from the side of the stage), Genesis Owoso, Binki, Royal Blood, MUNA, King Princess, Glass Animals and Girl In Red.
