Stage Buzz: Pegboy 30th Anniversary Show with Local H at SeatGeek Stadium on October 17th

| October 13, 2020
Pegboy comes to SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview Oct 17

Originally scheduled as a 30th Anniversary bash with two indoor shows in May, Chicago stalwart punk rockers Pegboy have recalibrated due to COVID and teamed up with Chicago Drive-in to offer a safe, socially distant drive-in concert at Seat Geek Stadium in Bridgeview on October 17. Powered by the Haggerty brothers – John (on guitar), and Joe (on drums) – Pegboy rocked the Chicago punk scene in the 1990s with the influential and acclaimed single “Three Chord Monte” and their debut vinyl Strong Reaction. The anniversary lineup also includes Chicago Punk royalty with vocalist/guitarist Larry Damore and bassist Steve Saylors.

Local H, who pioneered the first drive-in concerts this year with sold-out shows at Gibson City and Schaumburg, will be there to support the band. Twenty-five years after their debut, Scott Lucas’ band continues to defy the odds – not only by producing aggressive music that still matters buoyed by the new album LIFERS. Add Jake Burns from Stiff Little Fingers and Chicago’s Bolweevils and you have one of the best punk show of the year on October 17th. For tickets visit their site.
