Photo Gallery: Twenty One Pilots at United Center
After a lengthy sabbatical, Twenty One Pilots have returned to the road. Apparently, this is a secret to the very few, considering the Columbus, Ohio duo all but sold out the entirety of their Bandito Tour in an eye blink. Their U.S. trek, in support of the 2018 release Trench brought them, and hoards of faithfuls, to a filled to capacity United Center earlier this week. They fleshed out the cavernous space with a set heavy on new material, alt-radio unit shifters and a light show and stage show that looked like it was cribbed from the set of Escape From New York. Snake Plissken would approve. It’s amazing a distant mother ship wasn’t summoned for touchdown at the intersection of Madison and Damen.
