Photo Gallery: Bruce Springsteen Book Signing
Bruce Springsteen made a rare Chicago appearance Monday, but it was not for another sold-out show where 20,000+ fans left the United Center exhausted after a four hour rock celebration.
Making an appearance at a Books A Million, a relatively small number of Bruce fans got a chance to share a moment and grab a picture with the man that has filled their lives with poignant music for nearly four decades. Less than a week after President Obama presented him with The Medal of Freedom, our nation’s highest civilian honor, Springsteen spent the early afternoon at BAM (145 S Clark, Chicago) for a book-signing of sorts.
Each of the participants purchased a wrist band which entitled them to a signed copy of Springsteen’s autobiography, Born to Run and a moment with the Boss. The book has been on the New York Times bestseller list for 8 weeks.
