Photo Gallery – 101WKQX Piqniq 2015
The unofficial start to Summer kicked off this past weekend at Tinley Park’s First Midwest Bank Amphitheater. 101 WKQX, presented it’s listeners with Piqniq 2015, a daylong music festival featuring two stages and a bundle of bands including Smallpools, Saint Motel and Mowgli’s on the Side Stage. Joywave, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Bleachers, The Offspring and headliners Cage The Elephant then moved the proceedings to the Main Stage. IE’s Curt Baran packed his wicker basket with camera gear, potato salad and cheese sandwiches and trucked out to I-80 to document the action. He even managed to keep the ants off of his red and white checkered blanket.
