Open Submissions For Local Anesthetic Holiday Spectacular
Richard Milne, host of WXRT (93.1 FM)’s “Local Anesthetic,” has announced the 16th annual Holiday Spectacular, for which local bands are invited to submit their “seasonal salutations.” But wait, Johnny runnin’ in the hallway: Rules apply.
By 5 p.m. on December 12th, you and yours must enter a musical greeting. That much is important. Steps two through infinity: Identify yourself on the recording, mention “93XRT,” “Chicago’s finest rock,” “‘Local Anesthetic’,” and the seasonal greeting of your choice (Chanukah, Christmas, New Year, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day). The CD or MP3 must be a crisp 30 to 45 seconds long and can be sent to Richard Milne, Local Anesthetic, WXRT, 4949 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, IL 60641 or rankenter@aol.com.
