GODIN

Godin’s press materials touts the guitar line with a “darkly alluring new black graphite semi gloss finish and full out, blistering tone.” The LG EMG is a single-cutaway design, featuring a Honduras mahogany neck, an Indian rosewood fingerboard, a string-through-body design and 24-inch scale, plus an all- mahogany body and neck with an active EMG-85 humbucker in the neck. Godin says the EMG-81 bridge humbucker “offers up a warm and thick crushing wall of sound when needed.” Godin guitars are one of the few lines left in this price point assembled in North America.
