Stage Buzz: New Edition Way Tour, Purelink, Rascal Flatts
The biggest names in R&B and soul join forces for a night of unforgettable music. “The New Edition Way” tour celebrates the legacies of icons Toni Braxton, Boyz II Men, and, of course, New Edition. Relive the magic of timeless songs like “Mr. Telephone Man,” “End of the Road,” and “Un-Break My Heart.” It all goes down on Wednesday, February 4th, at the United Center. Find limited tickets here.
Chicago trio Purelink isn’t your standard electronic dance outfit. Rather, their sound is a fusion of dub, ambient soundscapes, drum ‘n’ bass, and chillout IDM, creating a multi-layered sonic experience. The group returns to the neighborhood they came up in for a homecoming show at Empty Bottle on Thursday, February 5th. Tickets available here.
After making a triumphant return to the stage last year, modern country icons Rascal Flatts are ready to do it again. The “Life Is a Highway” tour celebrates the band’s 27th anniversary in style with performances of songs fans have come to love over the past two decades. The tour pulls into the United Center with special guests Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane this Friday, February 6th. You can still find tickets here.
