Brigitte Calls Me Baby

Chicago’s own Brigitte Calls Me Baby is going back to where it all started. The band will preview new music from their upcoming album, Irreversible, during a special, intimate hometown show. The sold-out performance takes place at Schubas this Wednesday, January 21st. If you can’t make this one, the band will be back in April for a two-night stint at Thalia Hall.

Perfume Genius, aka Michael Alden Hadreas, is bringing fans a new, intimate experience this year. In support of his latest album, Glory, Perfume Genius is doing a new run of shows featuring his creative collaborator and partner, Alan Wyffels. The performance will feature stripped-back versions of old songs along with newer ones. The “Duo” tour stops by Lincoln Hall on Thursday, January 22nd. You can still get tickets here.

Whether they’re delivering searing post-punk or experimenting with electronic soundscapes, shame are always unapologetically themselves.
