Stage Buzz: IC3PEAK, Pixel Grip, Tom Morello, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets

| November 10, 2025

It’s no surprise that IC3PEAK’s music found an audience outside of their native Russia. Their latest album, Coming Home, arrived amid political unrest and social uprising. This is the duo’s bread and butter. They’ve come under fire in their country for their unapologetic criticism of the Russian government. Despite numerous attempts from authorities to censor them, IC3PEAK keep speaking out, which we desperately need right now. Catch the duo in action at Park West this Tuesday, November 11th. Tickets available here.

Australia’s Psychedelic Porn Crumpets sound as unhinged as their name suggests. The psych-rock band’s music comes at you fast and hard, leaving you no room to breathe. It’s wild, raw, and trippy with just the right amount of weird. Supporting their second new album released this year, the band performs at Thalia Hall with Ghost Funk Orchestra this Wednesday, November 12th. Grab tickets here.

Tom Morello is a master of guitar, an activist, a radio show host, a comic book writer, and a huge Cubs fan. But he will always be known for laying down fiery riffs in Rage Against the Machine. His musical prowess goes far beyond RATM, including hundreds of collaborations and dozens of side projects. Morello celebrates his 30-year career with Tom Morello & Friends, an electric full-band show that makes its way to The Vic Theatre on Thursday, November 13th. You can still get tickets here.

If you want electronic music that’s catchy enough to dance to and hard enough to mosh to, look no further than Chicago’s own Pixel Grip. Their excellent new album, Percepticide: The Death of Reality, perfectly captures the band’s abrasive, raw sound. The band closes out their latest tour with a sold-out hometown performance at Metro this Friday, November 14th, with support from The Serfs and Justin Aulis Long.
