| October 19, 2025

Lorna Shore

There’s a reason Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos went viral in 2021; his vocals are out of this world. Ramos and co perform with such fury, it sounds like they’re summoning demons from hell to join them. In support of their latest album, I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me, the band hits up Salt Shed with The Black Dahlia Murder, Shadow of Intent, and Peeling Flesh this Thursday, October 23rd. Find tickets here.

Chicago’s own Herbie Hancock is a living legend. Composer, bandleader, and accomplished pianist, his accolades are numerous. His list of compositions is endless and includes songs such as “Rockit,” “Watermelon Man,” “Maiden Voyage,” and “Cantaloupe Island.” At 85, he shows no signs of slowing down. See Hancock live at the Chicago Symphony Center on Sunday, October 26th. You can still get tickets here.

Between the Buried and Me may have roots in prog metal, but they’ve expanded well beyond the genre throughout their career. Their newest album, The Blue Nowhere, sees them covering everything from melodic metal to funk. Hear some of their new tracks along with fan favorites during their show at The Vic with Hail the Sun on Monday, October 27th. Grab tickets here.
