Stockholm, Sweden’s Viagra Boys, seemingly picked the right day to return to Chicago, as our First Amendment was under attack. This left-leaning six-piece truly resides in life’s darker spaces, and sadly, is one of the few bands ready to challenge the new status quo with their abrasive punk soundtrack from 2025’s Viagr Aboys. When lead singer Sebastian Murphy barks lyrics from the stage at the Salt Shed, his sincerity and disgust cannot be questioned.
Touring mates, Austin’s Die Spitz, supporting their new album Something To Consume, brought their own brand of reckless punk energy to the evening as they prepared to celebrate their cover debut in the legendary British music tabloid NME.
