Stage Buzz: Finn Wolfhard, PUP, Clipse

Clipse

Finn Wolfhard
is best known for playing Mike Wheeler on Netflix’s hit Stranger Things, but in recent years, he’s set his sights on his other passion: music. After spending time in bands Calpurnia and The Aubreys, Wolfhard released his debut solo album, Happy Birthday, this past June. Hear Wolfhard’s jangly, indie pop sound when he performs at Thalia Hall on Wednesday, September 3rd. Grab tickets here.

Five albums into their career, PUP still sound as unhinged, manic, and apathetic as they did on their 2013 self-titled debut. Though the band has changed over the years, they’re still the high-energy, self-deprecating punks the masses fell in love with. The band will bring their brand of chaos to Salt Shed with special guests Jeff Rosenstock and Ekko Astral on Friday, September 5th. Tickets available here.

Hip hop duo Clipse made their triumphant return this year with the release of their long-awaited follow-up to 2009’s Til the Casket Drops. It took 16 years for us to get Let God Sort Em Out, yet Pusha T and Malice pick up right where they left off. Expect to hear favorites like “Grindin’,” “Hot Damn,” and “When the Last Time” along with cuts from their new album during their Salt Shed concert on Monday, September 8th. You can still grab tickets here.
