In its past few incarnations, Lollapalooza seemed to have lost its luster. Competition in the form of festival oversaturation cut into the supply of talent needed to distinguish one of the county’s marquee events from countless others.

Well, for the 2025 version, promoters dug in their heels to curate a lineup that would get people excited again. And guess what…tickets for this year’s event vanished immediately.

So on Day One, the city’s front yard played host to Silly Goose, Girl Tones, Jade Lemac, Julie, Mark Ambor, Yana, Half-Alive, Bo Stalock, Sierra Ferrell, Role Model, Magdalena Bay, 2Hollis, (2-time Lolla veterans) Cage The Elephant and the festivals first time ever Country genre headliner Luke Combs.
