Stage Buzz: Pantera, Alabama Shakes, Chris Kirkpatrick

Critically acclaimed rock band Alabama Shakes is back after an eight-year hiatus. Known for their fusion of Southern rock, blues, and garage rock along with Brittany Howard’s powerful vocals, the band will celebrate their legacy and preview new music on their latest tour. The outing starts with two nights at the Salt Shed on July 15th and 16th. Tickets for this event are selling quickly, so get yours while you still can.

Heavy metal legends Pantera are ready to melt your face off when they bring “The Heaviest Tour of the Summer” to Chicago this weekend. Prepare to hear metal staples like “Walk,” “Cowboys from Hell,” “Planet Caravan,” “and “Revolution Is My Name” when the band hits Tinley Park’s Credit Union 1 stage this Saturday, July 19th at 7 PM with special guests Amon Amarth. The “Pop 2000 Tour” features performances from Kirkpatrick along with O-Town, BBMak, LFO, and Tyler Hilton. It all goes down Saturday, July 19th at The Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, IL.
