Rising metalcore group HANABIE. (pronounced Ha-na-bee-eh) are known for their bright visual aesthetic, love of video games and anime, and their loud and heavy sound. The self-described “Harajuku-core” band blends elements of metalcore, hardcore punk, hip hop, electronica, and nu-metal for a sound that’s both chaotic and catchy. Gost pushes the boundaries of its synth-wave tag by exploring its ugly, darker side. Sometimes upbeat, often brooding and menacing, they have songs that’ll get you on your feet while others sound ripped from the depths of Hell. Whether you call it electronic, slasherwave, darkwave, or chaotic, they have an unforgettable sound. Gost performs at Reggies Rock Club with Dead Register and Bellhead on Wednesday, March 12th. The Queen of R&B aka Mary J Blige needs no introduction. The recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee is responsible for groundbreaking albums, like What’s the 411? and My Life as well as several hit singles, such as “Family Affair,” “Not Gon’ Cry,” and “Real Love.” The R&B legend is celebrating her career and her new album with the “For My Fans Tour” with special guests Ne-Yo and Mario.
