Stage Buzz: Lynch Mob • Arcada Theatre • St. Charles

George Lynch made his hay as the guitarist of Dokken in the 80s (the band hit paydirt during the hair band era with Tooth and Nail and Back For The Attack with heavy MTV airplay). By the decade’s end, he had enough, and Lynch Mob was formed in 1989 after the breakup of Dokken. Wicked Sensations was Lynch Mob’s biggest hit, achieving gold album sales. Since then, the band has released a dozen albums along with Lynch’s solo albums and side projects; the guy is prolific. The current (and final?) band lineup features Lynch alongside Jimmy D’Anda, Gabriel Colon, and Jaron Gulino. Lynch Mob is billing this as “their final ride” – like KISS, we’ll see if that materializes. The show will mix 30 years of Lynch Mob classics and a heavy dose of Dokken. Lynch Mob appears at Arcada Theatre with Paralsndta on Saturday, February 8.
