Stage Buzz: Daughtry, Suki Waterhouse, The Effigies, Trans-Siberian Orchestra
Grammy award-winning rockers Daughtry will treat fans to hit singles, acoustic renditions, and cover songs during the group’s “Adrenaline Gone Ballistic Tour.” The tour rolls into Chicago’s Radius this Tuesday, December 17th, at 6:30 PM with special guests Sleep Theory and Devour the Day. Treat yourself to an early gift and grab tickets here.
Suki Waterhouse is the epitome of a triple threat. Starting as a model at only 16, she went on to become a successful actor and later singer/songwriter. Her opening slot on Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” solidified her status as a pop star that deserves your attention. Now, the English songstress will perform a sold-out concert at The Salt Shed with special guest Bully on Wednesday, December 18th at 8 PM.
Chicago punk legends The Effigies have a bittersweet homecoming and record release on Friday, December 20, at Metro. The tragic loss of co-founding lead vocalist John Kezdy in 2023 still stings. Fortunately, his music lives on their new record Burned. The show will celebrate the band’s past and the future, with Laughing Man’s Andrew Gerber on guitar and vocalist Geoff Sabin helping lead the charge. The co-founding rhythm section of Paul Zamost and Andrew Economou thankfully return. Appearing with Ganser, The Bollweevils, and Metro owner and DJ Joe Shanahan round out a very special night. Thanks to their electrifying renditions of Christmas classics, Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a can’t-miss staple of the holiday season. They return once again as part of their “The Lost Christmas Eve” tour to not only celebrate the season but to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their beloved rock opera of the same name. The group will play two shows at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont on Monday, December 23rd, at 2:30 PM and 8:00 PM. If you want to ring in the new year with these rockers, make sure to grab tickets here.
