For years Limp Bizkit was the band that was cool to hate. Now, the tides have changed, and we can admit the group is our favorite guilty pleasure. The group is now considered one of the defining bands of nu-metal. And no matter how you feel about them, you can’t deny their success thanks to bangers like “Nookie,” “Break Stuff,” “Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle),” and “My Way.” Fred Durst and co will perform their greatest hits on their “LOSERVILLE” tour, which comes to the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park on Saturday, July 20th at 6:30 PM. Tickets are on sale here.
Acclaimed Talking Heads tribute Big Suit comes to the Arcada Theatre on Saturday, July 20, with a stage show modeled after the Stop Making Sense(captured in the 1984 film) stage show era of the band; charismatic lead singer Jason Krause leads the group on an energetic night of music from the groundbreaking, eclectic New York new wave band. What started as a childhood dream for siblings Lzzy and ArejayHale is now one of rock’s mainstays. Halestorm broke mainstream rock with their 2012 single “Love Bites (So Do I)” and continue racking up hits, accolades, and scores of fans thanks to their fiery sound and Lzzy Hale’s blazing riffs. The band teamed up with I Prevail for a co-headlining tour with Hollywood Undead and Fit For a King this Sunday, July 21st, at Tinley Park’s Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre. Get tickets here.
