The summer event you’ve all been waiting for is finally here! It’s Lollapalooza weekend! Returning to Grant Park from August 1st to August 4th, this year’s event features headliners Megan Thee Stallion, Hozier, SZA, Stray Kids, The Killers, Future X Metro Boomin, blink-182, and Melanie Martinez. Other performers include Killer Mike, Conan Gray, Vince Staples, Pierce the Veil, Slow Pulp, Cults, Kesha, In This Moment, Blondshell, and Waterparks to name a few. Tickets are still available here.

For the past few months, Chappell Roan has dominated the music world. “Your favorite artist’s favorite artist” has quickly gained a rabid following thanks to hit singles “HOT TO GO!,” “Good luck, Babe!” and “Pink Pony Club.” It doesn’t hurt that her flaming curly red hair and off-the-wall costumes make her stand out. See what all the hype is about at Roan’s official Lolla aftershow with Shea Couleé at The Vic Theatre on Wednesday, July 31st at 9 PM. Find resale tickets here.

Destroy Boys embody the core value of punk rock music: doing whatever the fuck you want. Never ones to back down, the band is loud, unapologetic, and fearless whether they’re talking about extremely personal matters or commenting on society’s ills at large. Hear cuts from their upcoming album, Funeral Soundtrack #4, at their sold-out aftershow at Subterranean on Friday, August 2nd at 11 PM.

“Harajuku-core” outfit HANABIE. are quickly climbing the ranks of rock and metal thanks to their hyperactive, in-your-face sound and vibrant, colorful style. They combine elements of metalcore, groove metal, hyperpop, and Vocaloid into a style that’s loud, brash, heavy, and fun. The band will play a sold-out Lolla aftershow this Saturday, August 3rd at Reggie’s Rock Club at 11 PM. Get all the details here.
