Veil of Maya

If you missed out on Andre 3000’s sold-out show at Thalia Hall, you’re in luck. The former Outkast member will perform three more shows this week: a sold-out show at Salt Shed on Tuesday, February 13 , and two performances at Garfield Park Conservatory on Thursday, February 15, at 7 PM and 9 PM. Tickets are going fast, so make sure to grab some here.

Laura Jane Grace is a force of nature. She truly embodies the rebellious, fight-the-power energy found in the early days of punk rock. She doesn’t beat around the bush; whether it’s commentary on the state of the world, politics, or even her own personal life, everything she does is brutally honest. She continues this trend on her upcoming album, Hole In My Head. Grace will hold a listening party at Sleeping Village on Friday, February 16, to celebrate its release at 9 PM. If you want to join the celebration, get tickets here.

Chicago’s own Veil of Maya made their triumphant return last year with Mother, their first album in nearly seven years. It picked up right where they left off. The album showcases their masterful mix of djent and deathcore to create their punishing sound. The band will perform new tracks and old favorites during their show at The Forge in Joilet with special guests Until I Wake, Reflections, Angelmaker, and Alluvia on Friday, February 16, at 6 PM. You can still get tickets here.
