The granddaddy of music festivals arrived on the shores of Lake Michigan Thursday. Lollapalooza returned to Chicago’s front lawn, welcoming the kids to dance and shake their bones in Grant Park. The four-day event featured over 100 bands on multiple stages with genres for almost every discerning taste. Headliner Karol G delivered the kind of star-turn performance that could eventually have her touching down on stadium-sized settings. But she wasn’t alone. The undercard beneath her featured varied artists like Lainey Wilson, The Rose, Carly Rae Jensen, Men I Trust, Noah Kahan, Sofi Tukker, Jessie Murph, and Austin Mead.
