Yeah Yeah Yeahs made a triumphant return last year with their album Cool It Down, their first in nine years. Karen O and co. will play cuts from their latest release along with classics and fan favorites this weekend when they perform at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on Thursday, June 1 at 8 PM. The biggest tour of the year is finally here. From exorbitant ticket prices to Ticketmaster just breaking, The Eras tour has had its fair share of struggles. But it’ll all pay off this weekend when Taylor Swift brings the massive show to Soldier Field for a three-night stint with support from girl in red and Owenn. It all starts Friday, June 2 and runs through Sunday, June 4. Good luck getting last-minute tickets.
Do Division Street Fest returns for a weekend of live music and great food. This year’s lineup includes Frankie Rose, W.I.T.C.H., MSPAINT, Vundabar, The Slaps, and Dan Deacon. Best of old-school metal assembles at Reggies Friday and Saturday June 2 and 3 with Legion of Metal Fest. The fest was born out of the demise of the Ragnarokkr Metal Apocalypse Festival, highlighted this year by Metal Church’s return with new singer Marc Lopes.
