Cheap Trick – “the pride Rockford” entertained a healthy crowd at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan last Saturday with a hit-heavy setlist.  Guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson, and vocalist Robin Zander have secured their place in the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame and have continued their pace as one of the hardest working bands in the music business. Rick’s son Miles Nielsen opened the show with his band, the Rusted Hearts, and performed a few songs (“Magical Mystery Tour and “Voices”) with dad. Cheap Trick still has a schedule of consistent touring and a love of performing in their blood, and it still translates to their live show.
