After a two-year COVID delayed hiatus, progressive metal greats Dream Theater arrive at the Chicago Theatre for their much-anticipated return on Sunday, February 20th.
Their setlist will be a yolking of their best-known classic (“The Alien,” “Awaken The Master,” “Bridges in the Sky”), a few deep-cuts (“6:00”), and their pre-pandemic album A View From The Top of The World.
The band is as excited to get back to touring as the fans are to see them. James LaBrie told USA TODAY “…we’re getting back to ‘Let’s do a cool mix of who and what we are over the many years we’ve been together,'” LaBrie says. “And we all feel very confident about the setlist. We all feel our fans are gonna be quite happy with how it hits them.”
